Dr. Melissa Smith, PharmD, CPH, is the founder and CEO of Florida PGX Consulting, LLC, an independent consultancy specializing in pharmacogenomics (PGx), medication therapy management (MTM), and nutrigenomics testing services. With an extensive pharmacy career spanning retail, long-term care, and the PGx laboratory space, Dr. Smith brings a wealth of expertise to her consultancy.

After serving as a Pharmacy Manager in the retail setting and a registered Florida Certified Consultant Pharmacist in long-term care, Dr. Smith transitioned into the PGx laboratory field. She held esteemed roles as the VP of Clinical at ClarityX and the VP of Pharmacy at Precision Health Solutions, further solidifying her knowledge and experience in personalized medicine.

Driven by a mission to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care, Dr. Smith's consultancy collaborates closely with providers to evaluate medication therapies through the lens of pharmacogenomics and nutrigenomics.
